I just received the module so I have not installed it yet. However, I must say that after a mix up with the delivery, Motive Mods was quick to resolve the problem and always available to be reached by phone.  5 star customer service experience.

Love this modification. It’s a quick install and fixed my biggest gripe about the 996. (Even worse than no cup holders!!)

Love all the features that the Smartop offers with the one touch options and being able to open and close while moving slowly.  Looks like I've been able to master the multiple presses to activate the top remotely as well, pretty cool.  Easy to install, gave me a chance to inspect the hydro fluid and top that off to ensure it all works as designed.

Totally worth the relatively small investment. Set your own preferences, then an easy install within 15 mins. Now instead of sitting there with the emergency brake on, and holding a button for 20 seconds, it's a one click push. Should have been this way from Porsche.
