This German engineered kit is completely Plug-N-Play and will replace the OEM SMG shifter with an illuminated BMW ///M shifter. Time and effort was taken to develop a circuit board, which allows for OEM like functionality and permits the shifter to turn off when the vehicle goes to sleep. This is a very important feature, as it prevents the vehicle from having high battery drain issues, which can lead to costly replacement of the battery.

Options Explained:
Traffic Direction - Which side is your steering wheel located on when sitting inside the vehicle?
Trim - "Baseplate Without Illumination" will not illuminate your current baseplate along with shifter.
Trim - "Baseplate With Illumination" will illuminate your current baseplate along with shifter.
Trim - "M Baseplate" allows for replacement of your current baseplate with the M baseplate.*
Vehicle Build Date - Enter the date that your vehicle was manufactured in the format MM/YY.

* DSC button will serve as sport button.
