Performs exactly as advertised. Purchased to kill the eco start/stop function and all the rest of the features are great as well. Some have said they paid $100 for a shop to install, and if you can find one that will do it for that, do it and save yourself the hassle.

Purchased the mod4cars smart top controller.  It was easy to order and I received it in 2 days.  This product is amazing and completely changed how I can put the top up and down along with window control and a few other settings to bring the SL550 up to the standard it should have been. All using my OEM key.  I am completely satisfied.

Product was shipped the day of order and it arrived in 2 days.  The smartTop adds the functionality that the car should have been designed with.  I especially like the remote up and down and the true one touch for all 4 windows.

I purchased this control for my 2013 SL550 on a rather vague hope that it would help with the convertible top control.  The OEM control system is less than ideal.

My new control module installed perfectly by following the instructions.  Pretty simple too.

But the big benefits to me is the "one touch" operation of the convertible, and the windows.  No longer do I need to hold the switch up, or down, the full time.  Just one touch, and the top is up, or down.  Plus on hot days it's so nice to lower my windows remotely now.

There's other benefits for this module, but those that I've listed are my "most important"... so far.
